| Library cataloque in Internet |
- Aura library catalogue is found at: http://aura.kirjas.to
- The catalogue is common with the 6 other libraries of Loimaa region
- Anyone can browse and search information from the catalogue. The PIN code is not necessary in browsing
- If you want to reserve items, check your own loans or renew them, you'll need your library card number and personal identification number (PIN)
- You can choose your PIN code yourself at the library customer service desk
- The library staff adds it into the database and after that you can check your personal loan information everywhere you have Internet connection
Browsing your loans and renewing via Internet
- When you are browsing your own loans in Internet, please, choose the link "Your record" (="Asiakastiedot")
- After that you have to give your library card number and PIN code
- You can browse your loans, reservations and charges
- by choosing the left corner link "Loans" (="Linkit"), you get a detailed list of your loans
- Between the titles there is a check box for renewing the loan.
- After checking, press the button : "Renew" (="Uusi valitut") and you will get a new expiry date
- If there isn't a check box between the titles, the title is either reserved or renewed already 3 times. For further renewing you must visit the library personally
Reservation
- Search the item
- Choose the button "Reserve"
- Choose the library where you'll pick up the reserved item
- Press again the button "Reserve"
- Then give your library card number and PIN code
- You will get a notification when the reservation has been completed
Always remember to log out of the database after browsing your personal information.

Mobile services

| SMS services
- With SMS you can check and renew your loans
- SMS library services are available in TeliaSonera, Elisa and DNA
- To use SMS services you need library card number and PIN code
(The same PIN code can be used both for the Internet and mobile services)
How to use SMS services of the library:
- Registrate with sending the following SMS:
KKREK library library card number PIN code to number 13579.
- All the words have to be separated with the space
- You can use both small or capital letters
(e.g. KKREK aura AKP000011 PIN code)
- You will receive SMS if the registration has succeeded
- (you need to registrate only once with the same mobile phone. If many people are using the same mobile, everyone has to registrate as a separate user)
- With the command KKUUSI you can renew your loans
- With the command KKLAINAT you can browse your loans
- With the command KKPOIS you can cancel the registration
- You can also pay your reservation feeds by your mobile phone!

| E-books |
- E-books can be borrowed in the same way as printed items
- You need your library card number and PIN code to access the borrowed e-book from any computer with an Internet connection
- Any time you log in you can also check your remaining loan period
- When the loan has expired it is no longer accessible (unless you renew your loan)
- You don't have to worry about fines, because the loan period expires automatically!
- You can edit e-books and add your own notes, but the alterations can be saved only for your own use, not in the e-book itself
- You can also copy parts of the book for later use
(Remember to do it according to copy rights!)
