Integration
The objectives of promoting integration in the municipality of Aura are in line with the objectives of the Integration Act, which are to strengthen immigrants' employment, employment support skills, language skills and inclusion. We aim to promote equality between different population groups. Basic municipal services such as early childhood education, primary education and cultural and welfare services are available to immigrants and the municipality ensures that access to these services is effectively achieved.
Integration promotion services have been centralised in Loimaa under a cooperation agreement to ensure a uniform and high-quality service throughout the region. The immigration coordinator of the city of Loimaa provides services to those who have been designated as having a municipality of residence and who are outside the labour force or who are under temporary protection. For jobseeker clients, the services are provided by the employment office. Cooperation to promote integration takes place across municipal boundaries between the Loimaa immigration coordinator, the employment office, the wellbeing services county and a representative of the municipality of Aura.
